You have several options for admission to U of I as an international student:

本科入学: If you are seeking bachelor’s from the 365滚球官网, apply for undergraduate admission.
研究生入学: If you are seeking a graduate degree (master’s or doctorate) from the 365滚球官网, 请浏览研究生招生办公室了解更多关于学位课程的信息, academic and language requirements (determined by each individual department) and application procedures.
交换学生入学: Exchange students visit the 365滚球官网 as full-time students for a period of usually one or two semesters on an exchange agreement between the 365滚球官网 and their home 机构 or with an exchange organization.

The following are acceptable as proof of English competency for students for whom English is not their primary language. The substitutions are considered to be equivalent to a TOEFL score of 525/70 and are available only for undergraduate students applying for admission in degree and non-degree seeking programs.

SAT evidence based reading and writing minimum score of 550 (SAT taken March 2016 and after).

Students who qualify academically but have not yet achieved U of I's minimum English language proficiency requirement must enroll in the American Language and Culture Program (ALCP) to achieve the university's English language requirement. If the required level of language proficiency is not achieved within a two-year time period applicants may continue in ALCP and will need to submit a new application for admission to the academic department.

The following are acceptable as proof of English competency for graduate students:

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): minimum overall score of 79
IELTS (国际 English Language Testing System): minimum overall score of 6.5
MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery): Minimum overall score of 77
U of I American Language and Culture Program (ALCP) with score of a Level 6/Advanced Pass
U.S. Education Earned Bachelor, or higher, degree at accredited U.S. 机构
